Help Centre

EduPension is an educational pensions information portal for Ireland. This Help Centre explains how EduPension works, what it can and cannot do, how employer access works, and where to go if you need further support.

How EduPension Works

1

Choose how you want to access EduPension

You can use EduPension either as a general public user or through your employer's EduPension access link or QR code. If you access through your employer, the portal may reflect your employer's pension arrangements where relevant and where that information has been provided.

2

Ask a pension question

You can type a pension question into the Ask EduPension area. EduPension is designed to answer general educational pension questions using approved content. Do not include PPS numbers, account numbers, pension policy numbers, salary details, payroll data, contribution histories, medical information, identity documents, screenshots, or personal information about yourself or another person.

3

Protect your personal information

Do not enter PPS numbers, account numbers, pension policy numbers, salary details, payroll data, contribution histories, medical information, identity documents, screenshots, or personal information about yourself or another person. EduPension is intended for general educational questions only. If sensitive personal information is submitted, EduPension may delete, redact or not process it.

4

Read the answer

Answers are designed to be clear, educational, and easy to read. Longer answers may include headings, bullet points, and spacing to make them easier to understand.

5

Save or share Educational Postcards

In some parts of the portal, you may be able to create an EduPension Educational Postcard. This is a downloadable visual record of educational information for future reference. Some tools, such as certain calculator outputs, may not allow export or sharing.

6

Explore other pension information

You can also use EduPension to access resources, webinars, educational postcards, employer-specific pension information where available, and approved external calculators.

7

Request advice from a Central Bank regulated financial adviser if needed

If your question goes beyond general educational information, you may choose to request a complimentary consultation with a Central Bank regulated financial adviser. EduPension provides educational information only. Any regulated financial advice is provided separately, under separate engagement terms.
